This weekend in lovely Pennsylvania we are experiencing a sweltering 100 degree heatwave, which has me in full summertime mode! It has me daydreaming of the beach, strawberry daiquiris and some cute summer nails!
I've become more and more interested in nail art lately, in beauty school we really only touched on the basics, so not having a lot of practice I would love to dive right into the wonderful world of nail artistry!

I absolutely love this cute & simple melon design, it's easy enough for us beginners and it just screams summer time!! It can be done subtly with just an accent nail, or decked completely out in ombre...the options are really endless!

Since we're on the subject of food, I present to you fruity nails!! I think this is SO cute!! It's so subtle & refreshing, and I love how the fruit is painted on a nude nail! This would look just as cute on a french manicure!
