Going back to my beauty school days I've rocked quite a few different colors. from hot pink, to purple to leopard...So it's safe to say I've been a long time lover and supporter of unique and crazy hair colors way before they've become trendy, Thanks to the ever changing beauty industry and ever so inspirational pinterest! 😉
Every hair color is beautiful in it's own way, whether its natural, highlighted. balayge etc...but fashion colored hair will always have a special place in my heart! Hairdressing is an art, and what better way to express that than to color hair that's unique and has personality coming out the wazoo!?
These are my top 5 favorite fashion hair color trends of 2019....so far!
So we start out the countdown with the split personality color trend!! I absolutely love this because it can be worn many different ways depending on your cut and the way you wear the part....perfect for those with multiple personalities who can't decide on one hair color! ;)
Ok, so this one's not technically a '19 trend, but it's still a classic so it's getting an honorable mention! I've adored this teal blue ombre ever since i've set eyes on it!! The two very contrasting colors gave the very popular balayage an amazing twist!
The tye dye trend is one of if not the most visually appealing patterns I have ever seen. There are so many ways to incorporate this into a hair color, It can be all over, peekaboo, subtle or bold! The possibilities are endless for this 90's t-shirt trend!
Who seriously would not love animal print hair!? I think this print is best done on short, undercut & shaved hair, it really shows the pattern well and it can be done in a wide variety of colors! Pro Tip: Leopard spots can be hand painted OR if you're feeling adventurous used a cut stalk of celery.
My NUMBER ONE favorite hair color trend is the beautiful rainbow oil slick! To whom ever looked down at a grease puddle and thought; this would make an interesting hair color...I salute you! Not many fashion colors are aimed towards brunettes, and I think that's part of why I love this trend so much, It's stunning on darker hair colors!!
